Sanju Box Office Collection (4 Days) : Bahubali 2, Race 3 And Padmaavat
Beating all the past released movies like Padman, Baaghi and Race 3 etc. Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju has earned Rs 145.41 crore in just four days.
Sharing the latest box office figures of Sanju, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “Non-holiday / working day… Reduced ticket rates on weekdays… Yet, #Sanju puts up a SPLENDID TOTAL on Day 4 [Mon]… This one is NOT going to slow down soon… Fri 34.75 cr, Sat 38.60 cr, Sun 46.71 cr, Mon 25.35 cr. Total: ₹ 145.41 cr. India biz.”
If Padmaavat earned Rs 114 crore in its 5-day extended weekend, Race 3 managed to get Rs 106.47 in its kitty in the first three days of its release. But Sanju managed to beat both the films by earning Rs 120.06 crore in its opening weekend.
And when you thought Sanju was only giving stuff competition to Race 3 numbers at the box office, the biopic surprised everyone by beating the record of Baahubali 2 (Hindi). Sanju has beaten Baahubali 2 record, by scoring highest single day for a Hindi film ever. Baahubali 2 (Hindi) collected Rs 46.50 cr on its Day 3, while Sanju has surpassed it by earning Rs 46.71 cr on its Day 3.
This has again proved that a good content movie can beat any blockbuster movie.
